Families fleeing al-Shabaab atrocities were met by the Somali National Army in Danane village where the army provided them food and temporary shelter.
They said they fled from atrocities committed against them by the murderous group in nearby towns adding they were specifically targeted because they belonged to a minority tribe.
They expressed happiness in the army’s hospitality and the subsequent rescue provided by Somali National Army (SNA) and they urged the army to kick al-Shabaab out of the towns they fled. The families revealed how the murderous group al-Shabaab treats people and the atrocities it’s committing against the Somali people and begged SNA to liberate their town.
Somali National Army is doubling its efforts to kick out the terror group off Somalia and there are ongoing operations across the country to achieve that.
